Another shot of the table. This is while the finish is drying - which took a long time since it was extremely cold in San Francisco during the spring of 2001. I ended up using a hair drier to on the tung oil to try and get it to cure. Not the ideal situation!! (you may be asking yourself why it was so cold in my bedroom? I have central steam heat in a rent controlled apartment. The building manager tends to crank up the heat when it is warm and shut it off when it is cold - all part of the general plan to make the building a miserable place to be so they can get turn over and crank up the rental rates - which probably explains why there is a 25% vacancy rate in the building right now!)
